After leaving the NBA, Steph Curry plans to start a career in another sport.

GOOD LIFE

Even if it is painful to consider, Steph Curry will eventually retire from basketball. Fortunately, though, the guard for the Golden State Warriors already has another game in mind.

GOOD LIFE

The Company of After he hangs up his boots, 37-year-old basketball player and scratch golfer Stephen Curry revealed he is considering a run at the PGA Tour Champions.

GOOD LIFE

Curry has won the 2023 American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament held in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and is a known golf enthusiast. Among other sporting events, he participated in the 2025 Workday Golden Bear Pro-Am last week.

GOOD LIFE

"It would definitely be a fun goal to pursue," the guard told CNBC about Champions. "If you're not one of the successful former PGA players who are making the leap after turning fifty, it's a very difficult tour to succeed on.

GOOD LIFE

I'm rather certain that I'll attempt to complete the qualifying process and everything. I have witnessed men getting ready to do the same thing.

GOOD LIFE

Curry stated at the time, "I don't know what the path is." "I just know that after I finish playing basketball, I'm going to put as much money into my golf as I can afford to see how good I can get. We'll see where that puts me in 14 years."

GOOD LIFE

Curry's desire in changing sports late in their career is by no means unique among professional athletes. Of course, there is Michael Jordan, who took a brief break from basketball to play baseball. Harry Kane, a soccer star, has stated interest in playing kicker for the NFL as late as February.

GOOD LIFE

J.R. Smith, a former Cleveland Cavalier who now plays collegiate golf at North Carolina A&T State University, is another. Having said that, Chef's ideas are not new, even though it would still be quite amazing and thrilling to watch him implement them.

GOOD LIFE

Curry has a long way to go before he can qualify for Champions, which is exclusively for golfers 50 years of age and up. However, he will undoubtedly have more time to get ready. And we all need time to miss him so that when he returns to our TV screens, it will seem even more wonderful.
